Fresh 48 Sessions are birthing place sessions scheduled within the first 48 hours of birth. These sessions are less posed and have more of a lifestyle/relaxed feel that are meant to document all the real moments you may be too exhausted to remember but never want to forget.

Frequently asked questions

How does scheduling work?

I will pencil in your estimated due date on my calendar. I ask that you notify me if your dates change and that a parent reaches out to me as soon as possible once they know that baby is coming, or once baby is here. Then we will arrange a time for our session together!

What should I wear?

I encourage moms to wear something flowy and comfy as to not hurt their postpartum bodies.

Embrace the hospitaly-ness! With this I mean it's absolutely okay to stay in your hospital gown and keep baby with their hospital blanket and hat etc. I always love these shots because there is no other time in your life like it and if you're anything like me, you will want to visit this time again and again! With that being said, I also encourage parents to bring their own swaddles, hats, headbands, etc. Outfit/blanket changes are absolutely okay and my favorite galleries are ones where we get a good mix of both outfit options!

How long do Fresh 48 sessions last?

Typically between 30-60 minutes. I know this time is precious and I want to get you back into your newborn bubble as soon as possible!
